Host a Food Drive

Yolo Food Bank offers a way to directly impact your neighbors in Yolo County: hosting an old fashioned Food Drive of your own.

Food Drives are a great way for organizations, schools, businesses, and faith-based groups to raise awareness about the issue of hunger in Yolo County while supporting the community.  They provide nutritious food for Yolo Food Bank programs and offer a fun way to make a difference.

Hosting a Food Drive is easy and Yolo Food Bank wants to make sure that you have all of the resources, supplies, and information that you will need to be successful!

In order to best serve our fellow hungry neighbors, we ask that Food Drive hosts do their best to collect the following items:

Canned meat, fish, soup

Canned Ready To Eat Meals

Canned Vegetables

Peanut Butter (plastic container)

Iron Rich Cereal

100% Fruit Juice

Canned Fruit (in juice)

Dry Beans

Enriched Rice or Pasta

Powdered or Shelf Stable Milk
