Yolo Gives & Gathers 2024
This holiday season, you may be looking forward to moments of warmth and togetherness. Yet for 1 in 3 families in Yolo County, the reality is far different. This year, it’s even harder on Yolo Food Bank — Amazon's recent closure of its West Sacramento fulfillment center has left us with a critical gap, losing over 1 million pounds of essential food donations annually. With grocery costs up 4 percent and seasonal expenses straining budgets, more families are on the brink. Your support of our Yolo Gives & Gathers campaign can bring hope and humanity to families in need during this challenging time.
Food at home, at school, and in the community
Public Community Food Distributions
Providing fresh produce, dairy, meat, and other non-perishable goods to community members facing food insecurity
Private Community Food Distributions
Delivering groceries to low income senior citizens, people with disabilities, or mobility-restricted neighbors

Farmers markets at preschools, elementary and high schools that support access to fresh local produce and nutrition education
