Yolo Food Bank cares about our community being represented and sharing information that helps all voices to be heard in the upcoming election. While your official ballot will be in English, there are practice ballots available in five other languages to be sure you are aware of what is on the ballot; those practice ballots can be found here.
Ensure you are registered to vote!
You can confirm your registration status on the Yolo County Elections Office website. If you have not registered yet, you can register in person at any voting location on election day. In order to vote you must be a U.S. citizen, a California resident, and at least 18 years old on or before Election Day (November 5).
There are many different ways to vote this fall!
There are many avenues through which you can cast your vote in Yolo County, the graphic below can point you to the locations that are available and where you can find the method that is most accessible to you and submit your ballot. If you are already registered to vote you should have received a ballot in the mail and you can either vote at home and mail your ballot back in before Election Day, or drop off your completed ballot at a voting location or at a Ballot Drop Box prior to Election Day or by 8 PM on November 5.
Election Day is November 5!
You can go to any Vote Center in Yolo County and cast your ballot between 7 AM and 8 PM. If you want to vote in person, but you cannot make it to a voting location on Election Day there are twelve Vote Centers spread throughout Yolo County that are open up to ten days in advance of the election.
